Established in 1920, by Albert Turner and his wife May, the business still remains in the family, now the third Generation. Turner's tours have carried generations of people to schools, shops, markets and on outings and holidays.
The buses were originally the link between town traders and country customers and parcel delivery was an important part of the service. Described by a passenger as "This most friendly and homely of services", Turner's Tours are fast approaching their 87th Anniversary. Whilst still maintaining regular links with local villages, we now cater for a wider clientele, including holiday companies, National Express and European travel. Although constantly expanding and upgrading , we pride ourselves on providing traditional standards of service to our customers.
Our fleet of buses now serve Barnstaple, South Molton, Crediton and Tiverton, as well as our through service between Barnstaple and Exeter.
Our luxury coaches can often be spotted in far flung destinations, conveying skiing parties in the Alps or sun seeking on the Costas !
